WASHINGTON: The second round of the US-Pakistan mid-level protection exchange starts in Washington on Monday (today) to think about different choices for reinforcing ties between the two foundations.
The Pakistani group, headed by the Head of General Staff (CGS), Lt Gen Mohammed Saeed, arrived at the US capital on Sunday evening. The designation incorporates two significant commanders, two brigadiers, and a regular citizen delegate, the Extra Secretary for Americas Muhammad Mudassir Tipu from the international concerns service.
They will interface with their partners at the US Protection Division, which is otherwise called the Pentagon.
The CGS heads the second most powerful office in the Pakistan Armed forces after the Head of Armed force Staff. He is the regulatory head of both insight and functional powers.
The plan for the four-day (Feb 13-16) talks remembers extending coordination for vital issues between the two protection foundations.

The international concerns service in Islamabad said in an official statement that the Pakistani designation included delegates from the Joint Staff Central command and the three administrations’ base camp.
The US multi-organization group will be addressed by the Workplace of the Undersecretary of Protection.
“Issues of the reciprocal guard and security participation will be talked about during the safeguard discourse,” the service said. The main round of the discourse was held in Pakistan in Jan 2021.
The two military foundations have kept up with close ties in spite of conflicts on policy-driven issues.
